Arrived with a broken clip. The product appears sturdy and seems to function well but the prongs on the wrist lanyard were both broken off when the package arrived. This isn't a big deal for me because I never planned on using that part but it does raise some quality concerns. I supplied the picture that I took after I opened the package and realized the clip was broken.
Great for console clip. Great retractor to clip on to your BC and then clip a dive computer console or other gauge to keep close but secure. Great customer service from the company as well.

Ideal for diving lights. A diver's must have. Throw away your long clips and bungees (add danger here) and go with these for your diving strobes, etc. My first one lasted 300 dives. I rinse it more now after a dive.
Picture not Accurate! The retractor works well; however, the pictured tether is not included.I needed the tether!The seller told me that the mistake was an Amazon problem and offered no remedy!
Reliable keeper of cameras, light, and console while diving. I have always used this brand of retractable gear keepers for scuba diving. This specific gear keeper I purchased to keep my Go Pro Hero 7 Black camera secured to my regulator for hands free videography.

best overall. I've bought the heavy duty retractors and the light keychain ones. Overall for my diving capability I like these the best. they do the job needed without being too big or too small and weak to work on my BC.If I need more, this will do just perfect.

Ass advertised. Item fit and accessible as advertised. Only issue is unhooking before taking BCD off and ensuring dive partner knows to unhook in emergency.
Functionality. It is very functional. I am securing a wading staff with the retractable lanyard.

Good product. Used these for scuba bling (go pro, light) and the work great. Keep one side of clip on my pieces of gear, the other rigged to my BCD. Pretty slick.
Used on Scuba BCD. Attached to compass console and works fine underwater.

Read the specs carefully. I didn't realize there were different "flavors" of stretch and force (inches and oz supported). This one has a short cable and a pretty hefty spring. When I checked it out, the cable slipped out of my fingers, snapped back, and whacked my other hand before coiling back into the housing. It surprised me and left a pretty good bruise on my finger. If you need to keep something heavy on a short leash or are using it underwater (which is it's forte, I read later), this is the one. I wanted something to tether a remote control for my disabled spouse and this would have been too much even for me. I returned it and picked up the same brand but with a longer cable and less spring tension. Again, if you need the power and control, I'd recommend this model, but make sure that is what you want.

Retractable. It keeps my console tight to my side and I pull it out right where I need it.
EXCELLENT RETRACTOR!!! I use it with my OCEANIC PRO PLUS 2.1. It keeps it snug to my BCD. Easy to pull away to view gauge then just let go. Very sturdy, with great retract force. Highly recommended!!!
Very strong retractor system for scuba console. Keeps my gauges/compass pulled in perfectly. This is a strong retractor. No worries with this one slipping due to console weight or unintended pull out.

Console gauges always easily to see and stayed in-place. Quick delivery, good quality, and an excellent retractable cord. Used it for the first tie diving the Red Sea last week for my console gauges...worked perfectly.
Works well with scuba gear or a waterproof camera. For snorkeling/scuba activity: This works like you’d hope. I knew where my breathing apparatus was the whole time and it allowed flexibility. I attached one to my waterproof camera and my camera was also easy to find. The pull away is perfect for arms length reach.
Great value and quality. Very nice! I needed a good retractable device for diving and this is perfect. It's strong recoil is really nice. I put a caribeaner on each end and it's great for any diving gadget.
Happy with the results. I finally had the opportunity to use this on a dive. After loosing a gopro in the pacific I wanted something I could trust. I was weary at first but it did its job. Held onto the camera with selfie stick just fine
