RT4 series compact SCUBA Console retractor has a 18 inch extension which allows mounting of retractor on chest area of buoyancy compensator.

The Combo Mount - both a Snap Clip and Threaded Stud in the same package gives even more flexibility for mounting your Gear Keeper right where you want it.

Snap clip attaches to D-rings, the Threaded Stud is used to mount retractor to webbing, straps or a BC pocket.

Only had it on just under 50 dives, but no issues. So far so good. I definitely prefer a retractor over a bolt snap as it eliminates me fumbling to unclip/clip a bolt snap on my BCD especially at night or during deep dives when I prefer to concentrate on other things.
